The Xara Palace Relais & Châteaux is a luxury, boutique, family-run Hotel situated in the medieval, fortified city of Mdina. The history of The Xara Palace Relais & Châteaux, opened in 1999, is inextricably linked to that of Mdina, its walls forming part of the bastion walls that surround this hilltop city.

As a guest in one of our seventeen, individually designed, luxurious rooms and suites, you will find the ambiance light and intimate, comfortable and traditional. Your accommodation has been decorated with genuine antique furniture enhanced by original paintings by Maltese masters and international artists. Four of the rooms have Jacuzzis on their own private terraces and the views from the majority of the suites onto the countryside are quite simply stunning.
