The
identity of the Metropole Monte-Carlo Hotel is based on a unique and innovative
concept, and the most highly talented designers were involved in creating that
concept. The presence of those great names is evident, finely adapted to
suit the Metropole, where the warm spirit of the Mediterranean shows off those
characteristics. Each creative deisner has put his or her stamp on the
design and has redefined the entire personality of the hotel. In 2004,
the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo was refurbished to keep it in tune with its
time, but has kept all its spiritual qualities to uphold its concept of luxury,
more modern because more emotional. Metropole became a hotel with a real
character and soul.
Prestige Suites are
located on the roof top of the hotel. The large entrance hall opens onto your
separate living room and terrace where you will enjoy your private sun
loungers. Large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobe will
ideally suit most discerning travellers. Located on the upper floors,
the De Luxe Suites offer views of Monte-Carlo or the sea. They offer a
luxurious and functional living area, with a bedroom, separate lounge, office
and dressing room. The marble and mahogany wood bathroom has a jet shower,
large bath and double washbasins. With a view of the city of Monte Carlo
or the hotel’s cypress-lined avenue, the Superior Suites have a large,
luxurious and functional living area with a lounge and separate bedroom, plus a
dressing room, and bathroom in Carrara white marble with a shower or bath.
The hotel’s main
restaurant, Joël Robuchon, offers a Mediterranean-accented, sophisticated and
accessible cuisine, executed by Head Chef Christophe Cussac, in which the
emphasis is on the produce. The open Teppanyaki-style kitchen creates a special
relationship between the Chef and the guests. The warm, inviting decor
complements this unique experience which stimulates all the senses. YOSHI,
the first Joël Robuchon Japanese restaurant in the world, offers healthy,
modern cuisine created by the Japanese chef Takéo Yamazaki, under the guidance
of Joël Robuchon and Christophe Cussac. In line with the Japanese influences
and the elegance of the hotel, the Franco-Portuguese interior designer Didier
Gomez has created a restaurant in a clean, warm style. The restaurant room has
a sushi bar and opens into a Japanese-inspired garden, designed by the
landscape artist Jacques Messin.
