The Thief - NORWAY

Located between the iconic Astrup Fearnley Museum, the canals on Tjuvholmen and the Oslofjord, most of our 119 rooms have brilliant views. Timeless elegance with clear references to contemporary art and design is the common denominator for THIEF FURNISHING.

We have five room categories at THE THIEF. Whether you choose THE OSLO SUITE – the top suite with a fantastic view from a private terrace – or one of Oslo´s most spacious standard rooms, comfort takes pride of place. All rooms have tailored solutions and original details, which create an intimate and personal atmosphere.

Doors are always open at THE THIEF. You will be made very welcome, whether you want to read a book in the fireside lounge, meet for afternoon tea or enjoy a drink in Tjuvholmen’s only hotel bar. During the summer season we serve drinks with a view from the roof terrace. Restaurant Fru K [Mrs. K] opened its doors on the hotels first floor in January 2013. Fru K also has a separate entrance. Here executive chef Kari Innerå composes innovative courses based on Norwegian food traditions and local ingredients – always with an international twist. The restaurant has room for 92 guests and has a chambre séparée for up to 12 people.

Timeless elegance in the most futuristic part of Oslo forms the framework for any meeting at THE THIEF. We have five boardrooms of varying sizes and organise meetings and seminars for 2–50 people. The largest is FJORD, our meeting room with its own roof terrace, which has a fantastic view over the city and the fjord. For larger meetings and conferences we collaborate with the Astrup Fearnley Museum, Cafe de Concert, Sjømagasinet and others.

THE THIEF’s location on Tjuvholmen, in the middle of the city yet still in a secluded setting surrounded by the fjord and sea air, is perfect for making an investment in your body and health. We know Oslo’s shopping, from the exclusive designer shops to the small local specialist shops, and we help you to find the right combinations.
